Notes for authors!

Please read this text before you start preparing your paper for the proceedings of the First International Conference: Disaster Management and Emergency Response in the Mediterranean Region, Zadar, Croatia, 22 – 24 September 2008. The purpose of this note is to clarify a few points, but also to stress that it really is imperative that everyone complies exactly with the instructions in order for the final book to be both of highest quality and on time. No communication should exceed 10 pages. Manuscripts must contain an abstract and a conclusion. Colour pictures will be reproduced on CD-ROM in colour with a black/white print in the book. The manuscript should be submitted as an electronic file on CD-ROM together with a copy of the paper (in duplicate) made by yourself, and submited 22 September, at the Conference.
